Rudy's story

　　Rudy came to our rescue the beginning of May. He is guessed to be about 2 years old. Rudy was malnourished and had demadex mange which has been treated and after 2 months, most of his hair has grown back and he now weighs 50lbs and looks great! Rudy was also heart worm positive. His treatment ended the end of July and on Aug 2nd his microfilaria test came back negative!! wooohooooo. We are trying to figure out the breed, we are guessing maybe retriever/ lab mix. He has a beautiful red coat. He is a sweet dog that has been mistreated most of his short life. All he craves is attention. He tries so hard to please. He is house trained for the most part. So far we are working on crate up and sit and he seems to be catching on quickly. Rudy is now looking for a place to call his forever home.
