Rudy's story
Meet Rudy! Rudy came to BDAR originally as a young pup. He and his sister were adopted together, and did not develop the social skills and manners to be successful. When they returned to BDAR, Rudy and his sister were enrolled in the P.A.C.K. Program in hopes of developing confidence and manners. Now, after 9-weeks at the P.A.C.K. Program, an intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer, he has learned so many of the manners a good pup needs. He has already learned all of her basic commands, such as sit', stay', heel', and lay down', and has even learned 'shake' and 'pray' - he is even learning to 'wave'!
Rudy does well with other dogs and enjoys playing chase and bouncing around the play yard. While he has great manners now - Rudy sometimes still gets excited to see his human and may jump up to greet them. Rudy finds new people and places a little intimidating, and will likely need a little time to warm up and bond. Rudy is graduating from the program at the end of March and will be ready for his forever home so apply to meet him today!
