My story
04/17/23 Miss Rubyis back at the shelter after having some urinary issues in her previous home. She was seen by our shelter vet, who determined she had a UTI and adminisitered antibiotics. Ruby is quite overweight and cannot effectively clean her rear end. Keeping her on a consistent diet to prevent GI distress and help her slim down can help prevent these issues in the future. She was said to be outgoing, friendly, affectionate and quite talkative in her most recent home. If you are interested in meeting Miss Ruby, please give the shelter a call!03/22/23 This robust lady is Ruby! Ruby was surrendered to the shelter due to her not adjusting well to living with dogs. In her prior home, she was said to retreat but would hiss and swat at the dogs if they approached her. She has no prior history with cats, pocket pets, or livestock. Ruby also had no prior history with babies or children but was said to do well with strangers and adults. She was described as an outgoing, friendly, and affectionate cat. Ruby was also said to be litterbox trained and has used it well at the shelter. She is very overweight and would highly benefit from going on a diet. She was put on a weight loss plan by the shelter vet. Due to her obesity, Ruby was unable to clean herself and did receive a sanitary clip on arrival at the shelter. We also noticed that Ruby had a broken tooth and courtesy of our amazing shelter fund was sent out for a dental. If you are interested in meeting this lovely lady please give the shelter a call!April 21, 2023, 11:50 pm
