　　You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ruby is a sweet little cavalier - she came to SFCR after bein released from a commercial breeding facility. She is still pretty skittish and needs plenty of time to warm up to new people and environments.

　　Ruby does very well with the other dogs in her foster home and enjoys lounging in comfy dog beds.

　　Ruby does have a grade IV heart murmur with heart enlargement. She saw a board certified veterinary cardiologist at AERC in Minnesota and will need to be on a heart medication (Vetmedin) lifelong. This medication costs approximately $60 a month and is given twice a day. Ruby will also need to go back to the cardiologist for follow up visits as needed.

　　ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

　　Physically fenced in yard. Confident resident dog to help teach Ruby how to be a dog. Financially stable family willing and able to provide Ruby with the ongoing care she will require. 

　　Ruby has been spayed, received a dental with multiple extractions, and saw a veterinary cardiologist for a complete heart work up/echocardiogram. She is current on vaccinations & monthly preventatives, dewormed, and microchipped.
