My story

　　07/12/22 Roxy is back at the shelter after she became too much for her elderly owner. Roxy is in desperate need of exercise! She has a lot of energy and unfortunately this has made her bored causing naughty behaviors. She chews, scratches and is generally noisy. She can break out of kennels and break off of cable leads. She does NOT jump fences or dig however! Which is great because she spent most her time outside. She is not yet fully housebroken due to being outside most the time. She is very lovey with people of all ages and dogs and cats! She will bark at strangers at first, but loves them after a second. She cannot go to a home with pocket pets or birds, since she chases and nips at those critters. Roxy is said to get car sick, but she was in high spirits after her arrival to the shelter! Roxy is affectionate, outgoing and active! If you have lots of activies planned and need a buddy, then please give us a call!04/04/21 Sweet little Roxy was surrendered because her previous owner could no longer afford to take care of a puppy. Roxy is said to be a German Shepard mix so she will get big!

　　Roxy is an outgoing, affectionate, friendly girl that is looking for her new forever home. She is looking for a home that will keep her active, take her to obedience classes and stimulate her growing brain. She is said to jump on people, chew things, can be rough when playing and generally get into mischief, but these qualities can be fixed with some basic obedience training. She is said to be kennel/crate trained, although we don't know to what extent. She is said to ring a bell when she needs to go out to go potty. Her previous owner said she does well with children and men, `okayish` with women. She gets along great with all of her animal tenders her at the shelter! She is also said to get along well with dogs, but we don't know how she would do around cats, pocket pets or llivestock. She is a puppy and is still fearful of some things and can be shy when she is unfamiliar to something. She would love someone to help her boost her confidence and explore more of the world! This girl has been kept inside when her people were away, but goes outside for potty and play. She is said to poop and throw up in car rides, so please talk to your vet to see if you can get her anything to help with this issue. Roxy is such a sweet girl that would love to meet her new forever family so they can all go on adventures together this summer!
