ROXY's story

　　Roxy - 1.5 yrs. old

　　This is Roxy, a very loving Chihuahua mix who needs a foster home, or even better, her forever home. We are looking for an extra special family for Roxy because she has an autoimmune disorder. The vet suspects it's cutaneous lupus which causes scarring on her little face and tail. The disorder has to "flare" before they can biopsy for a definite diagnosis. She is perfectly fine in all other ways and the vet expects Roxy will live a full life span.

　　Roxy is great with everyone and other dogs. She has a very sweet personality and loves to be petted. Her condition is not contagious.

　　Roxy is in good hands with volunteer Julie currently but we are looking for that understanding family who will give her extra care. Julie will give the details of any medications Roxy needs to keep the skin condition under control. Please contact Julie at
