Roxy's story

　　This cutie is Roxy! She is possibly a Chihuahua and/or Dachshund mix. She's around 2 years old and about 20 pounds. Despite being a stray for who knows how long and even being shot with a bb at some point, she loves people! She NEEDS to give kisses! She is a silly, energetic girl that needs someone to love and be patient with her.

　　Roxy really enjoys playing with other doggos - preferably other small dogs. She can get grouchy with her chew toys and when she's snoozing, so a submissive friend will be best. We also think she would do fine as an only dog. She would enjoy getting all the human attention for herself! She gets very excited at times so she needs a household with no small children.

　　She has made huge progress in house training in her short time out of the shelter. She is well on her way to accident-free life! She also does well being crated during the day while her foster mom is at work.

　　Though she is very energetic at times, as long as she gets a chance to get her energy out, she is a great napper and snoozer in general. She has been sleeping through the night in her doggie bed like a pro.

　　Roxy is spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccinations, tested negative for heart worms and microchipped. She is being fostered in Madison, Alabama and ready to find her forever home!
