Roxy's story

　　Introducing... a crazy calico cat in a box!

　　Meet Roxy!

　　When we came in to the room, Roxy was in her box. And when we left the room, Roxy was in her box. Hey- why change what's working for you, right? It's the cat way! So it's no wonder that ten year old Roxy wasn't really digging the changes in her former home. She was surrendered to the shelter because she was soiling in the house and seemed "uncomfortable" with the toddlers running around. Sounds like Roxy was like, "get me the heck out of here!" I got you girl- kids make me run the other way too. ;-)

　　Roxy is a very friendly cat with a quirky personality. She was rolling all around in her box, flipping upside down and twisting her head at weird angles. I don't know what the heck she was doing, but I was cracking up. Roxy was very friendly with us and seemed to enjoy all the pets and attention. Her purr sounds like some strange baby bird call- you've got to come hear it for yourself. Cute & Quirky- that's Roxy!

　　Roxy was with her former family since she was a kitten, and she would really like a forever home this time around. She seems to do fine with the other cat in her cat suite at the shelter. You can visit Roxy at the MCAC West shelter in Phx (2500 S., 27th Ave.). Hours are 11-6 Mon-Fri and 11-5 Sat & Sun. Roxy's $25 adoption fee includes spay surgery and 3 in 1 vaccination.
