Roxy's story

　　I lived with dogs in my previous home.

　　I don't have a history with cats, but may do well with them with a slow introduction.

　　Due to my age, personality, I'm a better fit for homes with adults.

　　Sweet 50 pound Roxy wants to be friends but is still very frightened and nervous after being in an accident resulting in having her left hind leg amputated so it takes a bit a time for her to feel comfortable with you. After she knows you, she can be quite the "love-bug" and wants to stay close, but she doesn't demand attention. Roxy is still getting used to only having 3 legs so she doesn't do much walking right now. She seems very calm and gentle and needs a calm, quiet home without children to feel safe. Roxy is also a bit shy with other dogs, so if she joins a family with another dog, it would help if it's fairly calm and quiet also. [kc]
