ROXY~This sweet, cute girl is 6 yrs. and is searching for the perfect home. She is absolutely adorable and would love to be your best friend and hang out wherever you are. She enjoys riding in a car, walking, and snuggling next to you on the couch.
Roxy does have some cognitive disabilities as there was an injury when she was a puppy. She has some anxiety in new situations or alarming sounds where she runs in small circles during those. She is potty trained but sometimes lacks the ability to make that good decision. She is crate trained and can go through the night but needs an early morning let-out. A dog door is an absolute must.
This most likely will not be something that can be trained out of her. Her new family would need to understand that it most likely,is not a lack of potty training.
In rescue,we have seen the amazing things that a good loving, patient home can do for a dog. Who knows what this would do for Roxy. Her foster home has been using a dog door within a smaller space and doggy washable diapers around the home. Frequent visits outside help significantly. Someone who is retired or works from home would be best.
The Foster family would be happy to talk with you further about her if you think you are her perfect hero. Please think about adopting this sweet special needs girl.
