　　What is Mason's story? It has been a few weeks now since we found this sweet boy roaming the streets; skin and bones with multiple deep scars covering his body. We can't help but wonder what this sweet fella has endured - where did he come from? We are learning so much about Mason. He still shows those moments of fear where his body freezes and he hovers to the ground. We let Mason know that those days of fear are over now..... What is most evident is that at one time, this pooch was owned! Mason knew how to stay, sit, and shake the day we found him. He is just now starting to romp and play and his tail wags more and more. He has been to the vet on a few occasions since our paths crossed.....and the vet believes he is 7-8 years old. His scars are all over his body - and legs show signs of wear and tear as if he were once tied-up. Still, he obeys commands and just wants to please. We are happy he is putting on weight and has a clean bill of health - his blood work was perfect, and he was neutered.....all Mason needs now is a home, a very special home which will allow him to live out the rest of his life in peace.
