Rosy's story
My first birthday is the day after Christmas, the 26th of December. My name is Rosy and I sure hope "rosy" describes my next year because my first year has made me quite anxious. My eyes are sad when they should be bright and merry! You see, I was owned by a breeder who decided to downsize. I think maybe I was given up because I have severe hip dysplasia. I am sure to need two surgeries on my hips which I've heard is very, very expensive. I'm just a sweet little girl who hopes to run and play and not be in pain from arthritis. I also have an ear infection. I really need some help from a lot of kind folk to donate and support me. Would you help? I weigh 57 pounds. I need to be monitored in a foster home (which thankfully I have) to decide the best time for the surgeries and to keep my weight down. I've just been spayed and I'm being treated for my ear infection. So I am spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heart worm negative. As a pup, I have lots of energy; I wag my tail constantly, I'm great with other dogs, and I'm cute as the dickens! I love to play with soft toys. My immediate future may not be very much fun but, after I recover, I plan to live with a wonderful new family and have most of my medical issues behind me. Till then... Maybe soon you'll see me with bright eyes and a big ole puppy grin. Maybe on my birthday 2019. Wish me luck! Hopefully, Rosy
