My story
Hi, I am Rosie. I heard a rumor that Kitty Love Kuwait was featuring mamas today and so I asked my Kuwait rescuer if she would let me go on the page too. She is so nice: she said yes, and even wrote a poem about me.
My story is a little sad, but I know in my heart that it is going to get better and better and better! I am two or three years old, not quite sure, because I haven’t been keeping track, but I know I’m young. And I know I’m a pretty British Shorthair because everybody tells me I am.
A really bad person threw me in a dumpster when I was pregnant. I was lucky and got rescued, but my baby was born very deformed and died. They had to do an operation on me that starts with a C, in order to remove the dead kittens inside me. And then they fixed me so I won’t have to have any more kittens, which is a good thing for me.
I was extremely depressed after I lost my baby. But my rescuer has been so wonderful, as you can tell from the poem she wrote about me. She has restored my faith, my trust, and my love for people.
But my story doesn’t stop there. I was in an unfortunate fire incident in the shelter. I didn’t get hurt, but I did get a severe ear infection that affected my balance. Now my neck is twisted a little bit, but it’s getting better with B12 shots every week. So I have kind of been through a lot. Do you think my little head tilt makes me cuter? Do you think you could give me a chance to come to America and see how beautiful life is?
Oh, and maybe this will convince you that I’m worthy of a fresh start: I am extremely sweet, I love to eat, I love to drink cold water, I love to cuddle, and I would be so happy to celebrate any of your beautiful holidays or beautiful regular days. Please love me! Please have a home for me and share your beautiful life with me!
