My story
Rosie is a 5MO, 35lb adorable Mutt. Rosie and her sister were found as strays in Texas when they were 3MO. They were the only two survivors of their litter :( The shelters are SO overflowing right now and they are euthanizing daily to make room for the next ones, but we knew these two girls needed an opportunity at a life, especially after surviving the streets of Texas. They didn't survive that long to die at the hands of humans.Rosie is Miss Independent. She’s just a sweetheart. While she loves people and cuddles, she likes to explore. She’ll do laps around the yard just to see if she missed anything the first time. She loves to cuddle but it’s on her time. She loves a good belly rub. She will roll on her back to make sure you have good access for that belly rub. She is also learning about personal bubbles. She’s better about it than her sister but Rosie has been known to sprawl across your lap (which we love). Rosie is a smart girl. She enjoys chewing on a rope. She also would be happiest in a home where she has a way to burn off all the puppy energy. She would love regular hikes, walks or to be a running buddy. A yard would make her happy…with a doggy pool. She loves water! She is not afraid to plop right down in the pool and cool off. Her sister, while not afraid, wasn’t nearly as all in as she was. She has also been socialized with dogs of all sizes. These are great girls. They are smart, loving and so much fun.If you are interested in adopting Rosie or her sister Sandi, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com##1477796##
