My story
Friendly and talkative kitty who is a little on the shy side and would appreciate a quieter household. She should be brushed at least once a week to prevent mattes.Rose is also FIV+, so she needs to be an inside only cat. FIV is slow acting, cat-only virus, and cannot be transmissible to humans or other species of animals. FIV is not spread casually – like in litter boxes, food and water bowls, or when snuggling and playing. Instead, FIV is spread through serious, deep penetrating bite wounds -- The type of bite wound that is seen most often in feral, intact tomcats -- or by blood transfusions. Cats with FIV can live very long, perfectly comfortable lives. Provide FIV+ cats with a good diet and annual veterinarian exam, and address any secondary health concerns as they arise.**WALK IN SHELTER TO ADOPT Tuesday Noon-5pm, Wednesday 12-6pm, Thursday-Sunday Noon-5pm (Closed Mondays and Holidays).
