Hello World!
We are Radiant Rosie and Remarkable, Responsible Romeo, also known as the Darling Duo, as cute a pair of pups as you are likely to meet. Now were not just saying that. Our foster Mom and Dad say that we are dream dogs and that says a lot! They will tell you how playful, sweet, loving and friendly we are
not to mention cuddly and inseparable. Why theres nothing that I, Rosie wont do for Romeo and vice versa.
Now you may have heard a tragic story about someone else named Romeo but thankfully our story is different. You see, both Romeo and I had homes at one point where we were loved and cared for, but then things changed. Our owners decided that they didnt have time for us and took us to this place called a shelter. And thats where we discovered each other. Until I met Romeo I was scared and alone
then suddenly there he was. My Romeo. Our story might have still ended sadly but (heres the good part), our BFK Angel, Aunt Muffy, saw our potential as a pair, (we each did our best to charm her!) thought our personalities would complement one another and before we knew it we were on our way to a foster home. together (yippee!).
In case you are wondering which one of us is Rosie and which one is Romeo we'll give you a hint. Im the one with the fluffy coat and beautiful apricot ears and I barely tip the scales at 11 pounds. Romeo is all white (he is a little embarrassed because his beautiful white coat was shaved off, but I tell him that its OK because hair grows back) and is 6 months younger (he's 18 months) and a little lighter (about 8 pounds). We are such great buddies that you rarely see one of us without the other
and thats the way we like it!
Mom says Im very sweet and friendly with children (we have three in my foster home!), active, energetic, love to run, ride in the car, am very curious and housebroken. She says Im the most cheerful pup she has ever known! (Aw gee, Mom, you say the nicest things!) Im learning commands (slowly) and learning to play fetch. (I like the running after the ball part but prefer when Mom goes to get the ball afterward). I always wait for Romeo on our walks
and when its time to go up the stairs I always follow him. Now that weve found each other, I dont want to go anywhere without him.
As for Romeo, according to everyone who meets him, he is an amazingly sweet pup who gives very gentle kisses. He loves to sleep all curled up in your arms like a baby, has incredible manners (he never jumps up and down for food), is very gentle and kind with children and loves to ride in the car! A few days ago Romeo discovered these things called toys! His first toy was a furry ball that Aunt Muffy threw for him and he went skittering across the floor chasing it! Romeo said he never had any before. Now he LOVES toys!
Like me, Romeo is learning commands (Mom says they are not yet in our doggy dictionary!). He is extremely patient and gentle, shows lots of love and affection for everyone he meets and likes to take very good care of me.
Dad says we are simply a joy
and a lot of fun to have around. We are natural meeters and greeters, always happy to say hello to big people and little people. Mom says we enjoy our toys and love the yard. And after a busy day of taking care of Mom, Dad, our human brother and sisters and each other, we curl up together and sleep quietly through the night.
All in all, life is great as a Furkid. The only way it could be better is if we had a home and a family of our own. So if you are looking for two of the best buddies in the world, who will love you and each other, and you are willing to do some training to help us become the bestest pups we can be, then look no further. Were here and waiting to meet you.
Tail wags and puppy dog kisses,
Rolicking, Frolicking, Resilient and Remarkable Rosie and Romeo
