My story
Romeo is a 5-month-old male Terrier mix who must be neutered before he is adopted. His short coat is brown with pretty markings. You will notice that Romeo has a 'cherry eye'. A 'cherry eye' doesn't cause him any pain but if you adopt him your vet can advise you on it. Romeo weighs 14 pounds and we believe he will be a medium size adult dog (weighing between 30-60 pounds). He is a bit nervous when you first meet him. Romeo warms up quickly to a little cuddling and kind words. Like any young dog he is active and playful. We know he would appreciate a fenced yard where he could safely play. Romeo is not well leash trained so a little patience will be needed to have him walking on a leash like a pro. True to his name Romeo is very affectionate and sweet. He is going to make a great little family dog who will be good with other dogs and children ****Please note that when introducing a new dog into a home with children and other pets adult supervision is strongly recommended until the new dog settles in with the family.****Dogs may be adopted for $120. Cat adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heartworm negative.
