Rohan is our beautiful reddish brown pit mix who is 4 years old (a perfect age since he is past puppy behavior but has lots of energy for play and hike). He weighs about 44 pounds (a very nice size-not too big and not too small).
Rohan was very shy in the shelter, but if you didn't know, you would never guess now! He doesn't act shy at all and loves making new friends. He is very smart and learns quickly. He is housebroken, and has learned sit and down.He is working on come and wait. He loves walks and walks very well on leash, but occasionally get the zoomies and tries to take off. He does love to run, so a home with a big back yard would be wonderful.
Rohan does not live with other pets in his foster home so we are not sure how he would be with other pets. But he does seem to want to meet other dogs and it seems he wants to play.
Rohan's ideal family would be active with lots of hikes and games of fetch, but also be happy to snuggle with him on the couch. He is an expert snuggler!
Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial veterinary and other expenses in rescuing our dogs.
In order to recoup some of these costs, we request a tax-deductible donation for each adoption. The suggested donation for Rohan is $250.
If you are interested in adopting Rohan, please complete our online adoption application at /adoption-process.html or if you are interested in fostering please fill out our foster application at /foster-a-rescue-dog-1.html. One of our volunteers will get back to you. Adoptions are local, confined to the SF Bay Area.
