My story
Rocky was surrendered to the shelter with his brothers and sisters due to the previous owner unable to rehome them. According to the previous owners Rocky is used to living outside and has not started on house training and is lacking in socialization with people, places and other dogs. Rocky is a young sled dog bred to run and have a job. Please only consider Rocky or his siblings if you live an active lifestyle and will have the time to dedicate to exercising, training and raising a puppy. Rocky would highly benefit from puppy classes to help him learn manners, bond with his new family, gain confidence in meeting people as well as meeting other puppies and experiencing new places and environments! While at the shelter we have noticed that the male puppies in this litter tend to be somewhat more food aggressive than their sisters. The boys' new owners will need to work with them to make sure that this does not turn into an issue as they get older and bigger. Speaking to a trainer and going to puppy classes is highly encouraged.
