My story
Rocket Man is an 1-year-old American Bulldog mix who must be neutered before he is adopted. He is white with some black markings; and he weighs 50 pounds. Animal Control brought Rocket Man to PAHS as a stray; and he was not reclaimed by his owner. He is a strong dog who would need an experienced and patient owner. Rocket Man is not leash trained so he needs some work on that. He is a very active guy so Rocket Man would need a securely fenced yard where he could safely get some exercise. We believe he should not be in a home with young/small children due to his energy level. He would probably be fine in a home with teen aged children. If you have another dog you would need to bring your dog for a 'meet and greet' with Rocket Man. He is dog selective so we would need to be sure he would get along with your dog; or he should be an only dog. Rocket Man is friendly and sweet; he appreciates any kindness shown to him at the shelter. With a loving and patient owner, Rocket Man will become a very devoted companion.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $75 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $35 (as long as funds are available). Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative. January 28, 2023, 8:59 pm
