Rocco's story

　　Rocco: approximately 1 year old, black and rust, neutered male with white chest patch, natural ears, half docked tail, 11.5 " and 8 lbs. Shots up-to-date & micro-chipped. Rocco was taken in as a stray and surrendered to IMPS by a shelter.

　　Rocco was very underweight with a thin coat when he was brought into foster, but he is growing beautifully and filling out very nicely. He eats very well and enjoys snacks.

　　Rocco is still very much a puppy. Innocent and very sweet, he currently lives and plays with his 3 foster uncles, all IMPS adoptees. Rocco just loves his older pack members who seem to recognize he is a puppy and look after him. Its really very cute as he learns from their cues. They are also quick to correct him. They taught him how to use the doggy door which he picked up very quickly (see video). He does potty outside, but as a puppy, has had a couple of accidents when he couldnt make it to the door on time. He sleeps in a crate at night without fussing as long as he can see his humans.

　　Rocco seems to love everyone he meets and will use typical puppy behavior to charm the socks off of you. He is very, very affectionate and loves cuddling. Rocco is on guard when introduced to dogs apart from his pack. He has also learned that cats do not belong in the yard or anywhere else.

　　Note: Rocco is located in Elk Grove, CA. We will not fly this boy.
