　　Meet Robbie! Robbie is a 4 year old, 12 lb Minpin mix. Robbie can be a little bit of shy guy at first, but once he becomes comfortable with you he is very cuddly and loving. So much so, that he will do all he can to put himself between you and a book or your laptop if he is snuggling with you on the couch. Robbie is crate trained and will sleep quietly through the night, but he prefers to sleep with you at the foot of your bed. He quietly waits for you to wake up to take him out in the mornings and is mostly house trained. Robbie is learning to walk on a leash. He does get scared from loud cars and motorcycles passing by & will freeze until they safely away. Foster mom has been working with him daily, but he is content having potty breaks in the yard and spending time chilling out in the house. He rides well in the car and gets along fine with other dogs. He likes to follow the pack and does well with all dogs both big and small. Since Robbie is a little bit anxious, he would do best in a quiet adult only household. Robbie has been evaluated by a trainer and we will include a training session with Robbie to introduce him to new home for a smooth transition. Robbie is neutered, microchipped and current on his vaccines. His adoption fee is $250 which helps Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies.

　　All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such these individuals are most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog.

　　We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience. To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information.

　　All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and up to date on shots. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog is a fit for your family. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog.

　　Please note that an approved application DOES NOT guarantee that the dog will be placed with you. The final decision rests with our fosters as they know the dogs the best, and please be aware that there may be other applicants interested in the same dog. We continue accepting applications on a dog until the dog is with the new adoptive family in their home.
