River's story

　　I lived with dogs in my previous home.

　　I find cats a little TOO interesting, so best to keep them away.

　　Due to my personality, I'm a better fit for homes with teens/adults.

　　A happy 52 pound guy who still has a lot of puppy energy, River can be shy with strangers, but enjoys being with people once he knows them. He also enjoys being petted but he's not into hugs. River likes to run to burn off energy and walks pretty well on leash---a little more practice and he should be great. He knows "sit" and will sit for treats and appears very trainable. River reportedly knows how to use a doggy door. The one thing he does NOT like is car rides---he is said to have motion sickness and will throw up in the car in addition to being very anxious. Other than that it is said that he is "a great dog." [kc]
