RITA's story

　　02/21/19 Rita and Ronya were surrendered to the shelter because they were having confidence issues running in a large team. They are sled dog trained and are used to running distances up to 16 miles. Their previous owner said they would be great for a junior team or for someone into recreational mushing or skijoring. They were bred to run and need to find a home that will give them the proper exercise. They are used to living outside in a dog yard or in a dog barn. Both dogs are shy and need confidence building with their new owner. Rita and Ronya would love to find a home together as they are bonded.
