My story
Risha is a 7(ish) year old Terrier mix weighing about 12lbs Risha was found in New Mexico and the shelter was so overcrowded they asked us to help them. During the holidays there are so many dogs dumped at the shelters due to travel that it is the biggest time of year for overcrowded euthanasia. We knew that Risha deserved to live out her life, especially with how loving and adorable she is. Risha has now been in CO for a couple weeks and we cannot understand how someone let her go. She is as sweet as can be. She is a little nervous at first and has taken some time to come out of her shell but each day we get to see her sweet personality more and more. Risha gets along well with other dogs but is not one to play or romp around. Risha would love a home with a patient, lower key human who wants a snuggle buddy to take on walks and spend the rest of the day hanging out. Someone will really need to show her unconditonal love, and have the patience, knowing that it will not happen over night, but if they give her time to come out of her shell and learn she is once again safe she will reward her human with unconditional love in return. If you are interested in adopting sweet Risha, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com##1466778##
