My story
Rio is a 2-year-old male Border Collie mix who must be neutered before he is adopted. He was found in a neighborhood and unfortunately his owner never came looking for him at PAHS. Rio has the classic black and white medium length coat of a Border Collie. This handsome guy weighs in at 39 pounds so he is a medium sized adult dog. Rio has a happy go lucky attitude and gets along well with other dogs and children. Being a Border Collie mix, he would need to get regular exercise since he walks nicely on a leash--we know he would enjoy his new owner taking him on long walks. Rio would also love to have a fenced yard to play in; and he would enjoy having some children to keep him company in that nice yard! Rio can't wait for a new start on life with a loving family. He is patiently waiting on a new family to come and adopt him at PAHS.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
