My story
Riley came from south TX like so many dogs we help. He was reported to be chasing cattle, but remove cattle (or confine him) and neuter him then he is a lovely dog. Riley now gets along well with both male and female foster dogs in his northern MO foster home. He would probably do best in a home with no cats or small animals, however. Riley has done well with a 6 yr grandchild but any younger, Riley's size and exuberance might be too much. Typical for Dalmatians, he follows his mom from room to room and he is joined with her at the hip! He needs improved leash skills as many Dalmatians do! Riley would probably do well in an experienced dog home that can be consistent with the rules. We have learned that thunder scares him so means to help this issue are needed. We can suggest several. Riley will make a lovely companion in the right home where he is not allowed to run the show. For more information, contact Jon at [email protected]. Adoption $350.
