Hello World,

　　We are Bree and Riley, as darling a pair as you will ever meet. We are also a pair with quite a story to tell (that comes in a few minutes.) Our foster Moms said to tell you that I, Riley, am an 18-month-old bundle of love and energy and that Bree is a beautiful, and gentle little bit of a girl of one (year, that is.) We weigh 11.5 and 9 pounds now and are fully grown

　　so we wont be quite as big as many pups get to be. Our Moms say that we are the portables.

　　My world (Mom calls it Rileys world) is full of all kinds of exciting experiences. When I first went? outside these big things called cars scared me?,? but now Ive learned about them and have become an amazing walker. I go out three times a day (did I mention I am housebroken?) and am ?REALLY? good on a leash. I stay right by my foster Moms side (unlike my naughty doggy foster sister!) I still stop for loud machines but having grass under my feet and the breeze on my face is a lot of fun. Oh, and I get to go on rides in something called a golf cart and think thats pretty fun too!

　　Mom says I have crazy puppy hair (but like to be groomed!) and eyelashes that are almost an inch long. She says they are amazing!! I am good with the big people called adults and the little ones called children. I dont, however, care to be left alone so when Im with Bree and the puppies thats a different story.

　　Speaking of which, you may want to know why Bree and I are a pair. You see, before we became FurKids, we were living with more than 20 other dogs in a very small house. We had no yard, no grass, not enough food and not a lot of human attention. One day all 27 of us were taken to a place called a shelter. Because I was so malnourished (that means I didnt get enough to eat) I was put in the medical area with Bree and her puppies. I was next to them (and also next to a very loud beagle who barked all day and night), but knowing Bree was nearby helped me a lot.

　　Then our BFK Aunties swooped in and rescued all of us. And since my foster Mom and Brees foster Mom live near one another and are friends, I sensed that we were going to be ok. In fact, the minute I saw Bree and the puppies, I knew my world was safe again and I had a new responsibility: to be brave and help the puppies grow to be strong and confident. Mom says Im doing a great job with them

　　and that I, too, am ?now confident and assured. Im what she calls a perfect gentleman. I love to lay my head on her shoulder and give gentle little kisses. Im just a darling little boy that you will want to snuggle with any chance you get. Mom says Im living the Life of Riley!

　　Now for my little friend Bree. Her foster Mom says she is a sweet little angel who has the cutest ways about her. She gives soft, sweet kisses and loves to snuggle in your arms whenever she gets the chance. Bree has a sweet and gentle disposition, is learning commands (more about that in a minute) and is a great mom. She loves her cuddles

　　and loves to watch TV and relax. (Honest, she does!) When she wants a break from the pups she asks to be picked up. Bree is also housebroken, loves to go on her walks and watch the ducks swimming in the lake. She is also as smart as she is pretty! (Bree learned how to respond to Who wants a Cookie??? really fast!) and is really good figuring out how to get more attention. ?(Its easy because she is so darn cute!) ?Mom says I have the personality and adoring looks? (not to mention those eyelashes!) that will melt anyones heart the first time they meet me.

　　We are both grateful to be rescued, have good food and lots of love in our lives, and are very curious about the world. Its obvious that we want to please. Every day is another opportunity to learn more ways to make the humans around us smile. The puppies can be adopted in about two weeks, then the two of us will be ready to be adopted too!

　　Whoever becomes our forever family will be very special

　　because our forever home will have two of the sweetest furkids in the world living inside. Our Aunties says that anyone who meets us will be a happier person for the experience.
