Ricochet: black, short hair, female, born approx. 1/15/17, #13433 (teal collar) Vicki: black, short hair, female, born approx. 4/15/17, #13434 (red collar) Nikki: black, short hair, female, born approx. 4/15/17, #13435 (pink collar) Lotus: black, short hair, female, born approx. 4/15/17, #13436 (purple collar) These lovely young ladies were rescued from a hoarding situation where nearly all of the 80+ cats were solid black and many were born with vision impairments. Vicki, Nikki, and Lotus are all mostly blind though they can see minimal reflections and some light/shadow. It certainly doesnt slow them down from having plenty of fun. Noisy toys are understandably very appealing, as is strong catnip. They climb cat trees... and then go down backwards. They jump on things without a care for whats already there and are extremely resourceful cats... theyll get into just about anything! Ricochet earned her name for the blur of energy she can be... and she is equally loving and sweet. Though originally we were taking vision impaired kitties, Rikki jumped in the carrier and declared she was coming, too! So now shes the Seeing Eye cat for the group. When in the mood, she enjoys being held. Vickis plushy fur is impossible to resist petting (and oh those copper eyes). She is a little reserved at first yet is very affectionate and comes up for her fair share of pets and rubs. Though Vicki likes to keep her paws mostly under her own control, shell sleep with you and snuggle up close on the couch. Nikki is an uber love muffin, always climbing in a lap or up on you in bed to get her love and cuddles. Shell flop over for pets and you can pet and rub her whole body while she soaks it up. Lotus loves her pets, though prefers you stick more to her body than head to start as coming straight at her face makes her nervous with her limited vision. She will also roll over for belly rubs and may give gentle play bites. She does not like to be picked up yet will come head-bump you for affection. While they get along fine with other cats, these girls distinctly cluster together as a pack. Due to their sight restrictions and the clear way they seek each other out, they MUST be adopted in pairs. They have not met dogs. Gentle children should be fine so long as they understand the limited vision. These black beauties will keep you on your toes and keep you smiling... which two will you adopt??
