My story

　　Ricky is an adorable flame point siamese cat!! He has a gorgeous cream colored coat with light orange tabby markings. And did you see those crystal blue eyes?? Ricky spends a lot of his time chirping and loves to meow when he wants attention (typical siamese!). He really enjoys head scratches and rolling around on his back. Don't touch the tummy though, that's a trap! But, Ricky's absolute favorite thing is PLAY. He plays a lot and he plays hard! Because of this, he would do well in a home with other cats that like to play a lot or with seniors cats that will put him in line if he gets too excited. He can be shy at first, but is extremely loving once he lets his guard down. Poor Ricky had a rough start to life, so it's no wonder he's slow to trust! He was found outside, crying at the back door of one of our foster's homes. We believe he was abandoned by a neighbor. He will need a little patience as you build his trust, but the payoff is worth it. Ricky does not really like to be held, but he does love to be near you. His foster family says that watching his transformation from shy scaredy cat to joyful and playful confident cat has been one of the most rewarding fostering experiences of their life. Ricky is FIV Positive. The feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) is a retrovirus like the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Like HIV, FIV kills infection-fighting T-cells and weakens the immune system.FIV-positive cats have been known to live 20 years or more with no symptoms of any severe disease.
