Rhodesian Ridgeback - Cocoa (aka Lilly) - Large - Adult - Female

　　Update Jan. 2013: Lilly came and stayed with us for the holidays. She is a great dog! It's amazes me that she is still at A.R.F. and hasn't already been snatched up. Any family would be lucky to have her. Lilly is so easy-going and well mannered. We have gone to the dog park several times and she has made new friends (see video). She has had nothing but nice comments by the other dog owners about her beauty and grace. She really is a beautiful dog and her stance is just remarkable! She has a radiant red coat with the combination of eyes that will melt your heart. She's great with small dogs! In fact she loves them and of course gets along great with large dogs too. She is the sweetest dog and gets along with all types of personalities. LILLY also had lots of fun playing fetch and tug-a-war in my yard with my dogs. I'm not exaggerating when I say this girl gives lots of kisses. She will give you a tongue bath like you've never seen! She's completely house trained, doesn't get on the furniture, knows how to "sit" and I am currently working with her on "down." LILLY is such a sweetie and had a great Christmas with the family! Lilly really wants and deserves a family of her own. Thank you A.R.F. and I look forward to next year! COCOA (aka Lilly) is a friendly, happy and easy-going girl! COCOA had been adopted as a tiny puppy and for no fault of her own has been returned to ARF. Due to the failing condition of his home, her owner was forced to move and with a heavy heart was not able to take COCOA with him. COCOA has been an inside dog but enjoys being outside for playtime or to just hang out. She gets along great with other dogs whether they are big or small but does not do well with cats. She likes to go for car rides and walks well on a leash. COCOA loves people and attention too! She will let you know if there is a stranger at your door. COCOA is house trained, kennel trained and doggie door trained. COCOA will need to have a new home with a 6-foot fenced yard. Please consider giving this loving girl her new forever home!
