Rezi's story
Rezi was given to us by a good Samaritan who saved her from a home of neglect. She had lived all of her 8 years in a dirt yard with no shade and a green-slimed wading pool for water. She had lost most of her hair and her ears and eyes were very infected. Her first foster treated her and gave her frequent medicated baths. Rezis name came from the fact that with care she was truly resurrected! Now you will find her greatly improved and ready to find a loving forever home. She is a very sweet chocolate female age 8 and weighs
66 lbs. She needs a loving home where she can continue to heal and give her a chance to see that it is great to be in a loving, secure household. She loves to be around people, and is good with other dogs and children. She only stares at cats, but does not go after them, related her last foster. She knows how to use the doggie door and has shown no aggression. Her goal in life is to be near you, be petted and, of course, be fed twice a day. Rezi's energy level is medium to low but she has spurts of happy playing and loves her chew toys. She will playfully mouth your arm when excited about being petted, but responds to no or your hands in the air by retreating to her bed. A true lab, she loves her pool time! Only one pill a day is needed IF she is itching and she is amazingly healthy for all she has endured. With her hair loss, its a lab with little shedding! Plus, she presents a visual of a really good-hearted Samaritan that has rescued her. Rezi is the perfect example of a loving, forgiving dog's heart
