Reynolds Medalist Trumpet With Mouthpiece & Case - Vintage 1974Up for auction is a Medalist trumpet from Reynolds.  This instrument could use some TLC but from our inspection most of the damage is cosmetic.  There are some dents and scratches throughout, but the valves and slides move (stiffly); there are no cracks that we could see.  The bell of the trumpet is marked 'reynolds // MEDALIST // MADE IN U.S.A.' The trumpet's serial number 297350 indicates that it was made in the last half of 1974 or the first half or 1975.  Along with the instrument you will receive a Reynolds 7c mouthpiece, mute, hard case, and the accessories shown in picture 13.  The case has quite a bit of wear to the velvet lining but it remains structurally sound and protects the instrument well.  This is a USED instrument that is UNTESTED. We do not have the experience to say what kind of play quality this instrument may have. We do recommend that all used instruments be fully cleaned and serviced prior to use.
