Reynolds Contempora FE-01 Intermediate Double French Horn Nickel Silver USA. This is an excellent quality horn made of solid nickel silver in the late 60s / early 70s. It has a tone sought after by many professional musicians , being made at a time when both sound and functionality were at the heart of the craftsman who made the individual instruments. This has been well cared for, and intended mostly for special occasions by my wife, who is not playing much currently. It is pretty forgiving to play as it is well designed and made. Although mostly used by those of some experience, I am sure that even a beginner would be thrilled to play it. Please look at the pictures thoroughly, it is perfectly straight, no structural damage, no major blemishes, etc. Last two pictures have serial number: 295893It does have some normal finish wear and fine scratches in the places it is normally held ( like outside lead tube ) It reflects light and background just like a mirror would- so examine the pictures to make sure you are not just seeing something in the vicinity. This includes a brand new/ sealed package Bach 7 French horn mouth piece. It is included so you can have a decent mouth piece to get started with. You may decide on another size but this is fairly popular, so hopefully it works well for you. Please, again, as questions, review pictures, whatever you need to do before purchasing, I do not take returns- I apologize but some people ruin things for others. I will package well, inside the case as well as outside, to help it arrive safely to you. I will also pay for the shipping insurance at the purchase price of the sale. I hope this will be an inspiring horn for whoever gets it, and that it brings much joy to both the player and those listening.
