Rex's story

　　Rex is a 5 year old male German Shepherd. He was roaming the streets for a few months after being hit by a car. His injuries have since healed and don't seem to cause him any pain. He LOVES a good jolly ball and will play with it all day long. Rex did well with his dog test, but would do best in a home with a female dog. He needs continued training and will thrive with structure, exercise, and mental stimulation. He does need an owner who is familiar with shepherds. Rex is heartworm positive but will be starting treatment soon. He is hoping his forever home will be waiting for him after he gets the all clear.
