CastOffCockers Dog Rescue is in need of volunteer foster homes for several Cocker Spaniels, Shih Tzus, Terriers, Chihuahuas, Poodles, Llasas and other small-breed dogs coming in to rescue this week.
All that's needed is for you to provide safe and loving indoor family life for your foster doggie while he or she awaits adoption. Fostering our dogs is life-and-soul-enriching and we make it so easy; providing e-group support, vet and trainer support, and all the supplies, veterinary care, grooming needs and equipment -- crates, leashes, beds, etc -- needed.
All of our dogs are clean, parasite-free and vaccinated before going to your home. We've been doing this for over 10 years, so you'll have very experienced volunteers and trainers who are always available by phone, by email and in person whenever needed to provide helpful hints on how to accomplish any training needed, handling any little doggie quirks or any other questions you may have. Our wonderful vet takes your calls on his cell phone up until 10 PM 7 days a week, and is even open on weekends.
You will find that helping a homeless dog become the confident, happy, and healthy pet is more than gratifying; seeing your little charge off into new Forever Families is a joy beyond description.
And, should you decide that you want to adopt your foster doggie, you'll have first dibs. But we can tell you from experience, when you watch the dog you've nurtured walk off with her new family, your heart will swell with pride and you'll be ready for your next foster doggie.
Whether you're a single, a couple, seniors, or a family with children, your entire household can participate and will find that fostering our needy lap-sized dogs is a wonderful, rewarding experience. You'll need a fenced yard and a phone. Internet is helpful as we have our own rescue e-Group, so you'll be in contact with other COC volunteers whenever you want, and will be up to date on groups news and announcements.
