Rei's story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
Hello, my name is Rei and I think I could be described pretty well as a delicate flower. I've had a tough life, I grew up in a hoarding situation and had several litters of puppies by the time I was four years old. I didn't receive any socialization with people so they still scare me but I'm coming a long with time. I like having a social dog companion around to help show me the world isn't such a scary place. My foster mom says I'm very sweet and do like to be around people but still don't quite understand what to do with them. I like to follow her around and even sit by her but being touched is still a little weird to me. I'm crate trained and potty trained so that's an added bonus! My foster mom is working with me on leash but I'm still figuring that bit out, the outside world can be scary! I hope to find a patient, understanding home that will give me the opportunity to blossom into the dog I can be with time. Because of this I am not compatible with small kids. If you'd like to talk a little bit more about me or maybe even come spend some time with me please email my foster mom at [email protected]. I hope to meet you soon!
*Rei is located in a foster home and not at our shelter. To meet her please set up a meet and greet with her foster home.
