This is a classic Eastlake Victorian Secretary, circa around 1880, that has a curley walnut burl on the roll top, which is really beautiful.

　　The upper bookcase has the original glass in the doors, and adjustable shelves

　　with wooden slats and a key lock. It is separate from the bottom section for handling. Above the LEATHER pull-out writing surface area, (see picture below with the desk area pulled out) are compartments including 2 small pull-out drawers.

　　The 3 drawers below the desk top are dove tailed.

　　The dimensions are 30" wide, 21" deep and 7'1" tall and the writing surface is 29" above the floor. Really a nice cabinet.

　　My pictures don't reflect this secretary very well, it is really in wonderful shape!
