My story
Ray is a 2-year-old male Yellow Lab mix who has already been neutered. He came to PAHS as a stray from the city; we were shocked when his owner never came looking for him. Ray is about as handsome as any dog could be! He is yellow and he weighs 65 pounds so he is a large dog. Ray is a perfect example of how energetic a Lab can be. He is super active and playful but nothing a daily romp in a nice fenced yard wouldn't help with. Ray is also very sweet and gets along great with other dogs. He would be just fine in a home with children; but due to his size and energy level, probably should not be in a home with small children. Ray is working on his leash training and with an experienced and patient owner he will quickly learn acceptable behavior. He is smart and eager to please once he understands what it is you want him to do. Please come out and meet our great, BIG, bouncing boy--Ray!Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative. Â
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ray 34675, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
