Original Gilbert Erector Set 2 from the early 1960s with the characteristic quality steel and metal parts from the original Gilbert sets (discontinued in about 1962). It has been in storage for about 40 years.

　　Missing the DC3 motor (no big loss. This is considered to be Gilbert's worst electric motor). Box is in poor shape. Contents are in very good condition and include instructions, wheels, pulleys, sections, metal girders, nuts & bolts, etc.
