Rare and unique vintage Colonial Man and Woman Figurine Pair 6 1/4" tall .

　　This set each has a "unique" Hand Paint Japan mark on the bottom. I have not found a simular mark during extensive research. The age has not been determined.

　　The figurines are also remarkable in their design. The woman is holding a violin in one hand and a "rose" in the other. The arms are in free form (not solidly attached to the body). The male is holding his hat in his lap with his left hand and his left elbo and his right arm and both legs are also free form. I also have not found such a unique design ie. free form, so extensively used.

　　No chips or cracks.
