uper rare tastefully modified1950 Happy Home bread truck. This is about the coolest truck I have ever seen. Reminds me of a cartoon and yet is really beautiful testament to the style and craftmanship of the day. I successfully sold espresso for years out of the back of this classic. The coffee equipment has been sold but it would be easy to refit it for espresso or a snow cone/taco/hot dog wagon or just a sweet ride.

　　It literally stops traffic and both young and old people love it. Makes a great advertising or marketing vehicle. You cannot walk past this truck without stopping.

　　It has a chevy drive train 283 with a 350 turbo, automatic transmission, ford 9 inch rear end, a working fridge, ice bin and sink. Every nut and bolt has been redone or replaced frame has been painted and its all steel, no Fiberglass on this baby. The back "box" of the truck is made of Aluminum and is super light weight and built like a world war 2 airplane.

　　Runs great and clean, very quick.

　　I am in another business venture and this would be a great opportunity investment for a moble business, advertising, or just enjoy as a classic.

　　The truck was taken apart down to the frame front axil and box.

　　The frame was stripped and hand painted with super tough chassis paint in black

　　All diamond plating floor panels were also stripped and painted underneath and of course inside

　　the rear end was replaced with a ford 9" rebuilt rear end with appropriate gearing for highway and the 283

　　The 283 came out of a 1967 chevy impala and I was the 2nd owner it had 52000 documented miles on it when i bought it. I say documented because every fill up at the gas station and every service call at the garage was documented I drove the chevy for a year and then put the 283 in this truck 3 1/2 years ago. It runs great no smoke compression is good good econimy and plenty of Zip and power to haul a load when you need it

　　it has a 2 barrel carb a mechanical fuel pump and a rebuilt radiator.

　　Exhaust is dual straight pipe al new with dual mufflers exhaust manifolds are stock chevy rams horns ( I have 3 extra that will go with the truck)

　　The fan is raised 8 inches or so with a water pump housing adapter made by Lokar. It is a huge radiator and cool very very well even in the texas heat.

　　Gas tank was cleaned out professionally and re done inside and out.

　　All fuel lines and brake lines were replaced with new.

　　all bearing and brake cylinders were replaced. Drums were good and thick all hoses of course were replaced with new

　　gearing box is good some wear but it steers fine.

　　straight axil was kept with the addition of a steering dampener.

　　The truck stops on a dime but is not equipped with power brakes or steering. that seemed to be overkill given the size and weight of the truck Remember it aluminum. I wanted to keep this simple and reliable with out too many electrical or unnecessary moving parts as I knew it would be a business working vehicle.

　　Once you get the feel for it its quite fun and easy to drive.

　　The transmission was replaced with a 350 turbo that had been rebuilt. It has some kind of rare case and I guess is worth a bit of money

　　The transmission uses a floor shifter with center lock button. Its a Lokar product and matches the period look quite well.

　　All 3 speed plus reverse work perfectly.

　　the body is all steel ( the truck front end of course the box is aluminum) no fiberglass solid period correct classic 2 piece fenders

　　It has a repro front bumper from LMC the rear was made and has a place for a trailer hitch which I used to haul a small trailer when I did larger shows/events.

　　all hardware was replaced with grade A hardware most parts were purchased from LMC trucks

　　all body panels were painted underneath there is no rusting issues of any kind.

　　Seams are sealed for cleanliness and moisture protection

　　The inside was redone from the ground up. original diamond plate steel for the floor . Aluminum walls

　　redone "I love lucy Sparkle green seat)

　　All four leaf springs were cold arched and leaves were replaced as needed.

　　King pins were replaced

　　Tires are LT light truck Tires very good tires with much life left

　　firewall is redone and painted with new insulation

　　12 volt system was rewired from the ground up with a painless wiring harness and fuse box set up

　　battery is an optima 12 volt

　　tail lights / brake lights were replaced with modern brighter versions fitting the style of the period.

　　front marker light were converted to turn signals.

　　It has hazard lights

　　heater core was replaced with a new one

　　All of the glass was replaced with flat safety glass

　　all doors were rebuilt from original models with marine plywood cores varnished and thick aluminum panels all new rubber gaskets and original brass piano hinges 88 stainless steel screws per side of each hinge..very cool

　　Truck has locking mechanism on passenger door that needs new cylinder and key which I have

　　Extra parts include new fuel pump in box. extra dome lights and stuff misc nuts and bolts and old hardware extra side mirrors etc.
