Bach 42H heavy bell trombone. Straight horn, no trigger. Standard weight yellow brass slide, SN 197xxx. Slide is excellent, quick and has only one tiny music stand ding on the crook. I bought the bell recently and the previous owner said it was bought in 2002 as a raw brass bell, flare only. He had it mounted onto the neck by Charlie Melk, and had it lacquered. The lacquer looks a little patchy, but it does not affect the sound or playability of the instrument. I was thinking of keeping this one along with my 42AFG, but decided to stay with my Shires set up instead. This horn plays well and it will make someone very happy to have a straight 42. Please ask any questions.
