This book is in excellent condition for it's age. There is a bit, though really small, quantity of pet dog ear on the pages. The edges have some shelf wear and there are some spots of oil on the back.
Right here's exactly what one collector states of this book:.
"Now if you still want the old collectible fishing tackle, then you can thumb with these old Guides and discover the initial advertisements for your old gear and see how they where marketed back then. There are a number of reasons why there are so few of these little jewels still out there. I think the reason that most of these old guides are so hard to discover is because of some crucial factors. Numerous were left in an old take on box and exposed to moisture, fish guts, watercraft gas and who understands what else. Even if they resided in the luxury of a house over the last eighty years, at a long time they could have been contributed to a wartime paper drive or another worthy cause. They likewise may have been deemed as unimportant and threw out while cleaning the residence.
The last crucial aspect is that a very percentage of these Guides were printed; these were a local product and as such, were not distributed in great deals.
Of the elements provided above and numerous other possible deaths, the possibilities of survival for some of these Guides is about the exact same as a single salmon egg developing into a mature fish and returning back to spawn in the stream bed of its birth.".
