Queen's story
"I don't have a history with dogs, but bring your dog down to meet with me to see how we get along!"
"I lived with cats in my previous home!"
"Due to my size and personality, I'm a better fit for homes with older children and adults!"
A young girl who looks "prematurely grey", having white hair on her muzzle that you normally see on senior dogs, 51 pound Queen is really a big puppy. She is friendly and very lively. Queen walks nicely on leash and will sit for a treat, but needs work on other manners. She is trying to learn not to jump on people so much and that's it's not polite to grab at people. Queen seems very smart-she learned almost instantly that our volunteers keep treats in their apron pockets and tries to help herself. Yes, she is very "food motivated" (which will help in further training) and her new family needs to be aware that she will possibly "counter surf" until convinced not to. [kc]
