This is a gorgeous solid Chippendale lowboy chest with a china closet top. It's a great looking cabinet, of all solid construction, with beveled-edge dovetail drawers that retain their original Chippendale-style hardware, a clamshell carving in the center of the bottom drawer that is a simulated three drawers, mahogany grillwork on each glass door, a crown molded top with a dainty little finial, and it all stands on cabriole-style Queen Anne Chippendale pad foot legs. The finish is a dark reddish-brown. The overall condition of this piece is very nice. The overall size is 34 inches across, 18 inches deep, and 25 inches to the top of the finial.
