　　Smurf simply adores people. He'll follow you around the pasture, just to enjoy the pleasure of your company! And no wonder: Earlier in his life, he was abandoned in a dog run. What a cruel thing to do to any horse, especially one as sweet as Smurf! More recently, he lost his home when his person moved overseas and couldn't take him with her.

　　This sorrel Appendix Quarter Horse gelding makes an easy-going pasture pal. He never met a person or animal he didn't get along with, and everybody likes Smurf!

　　Born around 1990, Smurf has a few ongoing medical concerns. He sometimes has a sore back, collects fluid in his front knee, and occasionally displays lameness issues. But he doesn't let a few physical ailments cramp his style. When meals are about to be served, he often crow hops around the pasture. And, when this usually laid-back guy is in an infrequent not-so-good mood, he can be pushy on the ground.
