My story

　　Misty Belle is a beautiful, happy, fun-loving, sweet Plotthound puppy that is 5 months old and only 27 pounds. This dainty and elegant girl is on her way to becoming a 50 pound beautifully marked brindle girl that will be sleek and a show stopper when she walks down the sidewalk or street. This is a family dog that is a diamond in the rough.  We are polishing this smart girl who has adapted well to many changes in her very short life. While she's a little timid at first, Misty Belle is eager to please and generous with her kisses, hugs and snuggles. She has cute puppy energy and is learning to play with toys, and adores her unlimited selection of squeaky toys and hardcore chew sticks.  Misty Belle is bouncing back from being underweight, and has a strong appetite, so you can train her easily using food. She sleeps well in a crate or puppy corral and is a gem when walking on a leash and very calm.   Misty Belle gets along with the foster dogs (after an adjustment period) and tolerates the foster cat. Misty Belle accepted petting from a neighbor girl, so she seems to be good with children and not fearful.  She came from a very rural area of West Tennessee and was born to a stray momma dog who took up with a very senior woman who has never contained the litter and they always ran loose.  We are still hoping to find foster homes for the brothers who are on the property and need attention and neutering.  She came in so very skinny and laden with ticks.  She is not effected by the ticks and we have tested her.  She is gaining much needed weight and with that weight she is gaining confidence about herself and her new actual foster home that allows her a soft cushy bed, kind words, clean water and means inside the air conditioned house that she has never been in. she is just a miracle and we want a miracle family to recognize the prize she will be in their life.   Videos are available and an extensive conversation with the foster mom are offered.
