My story
Our handsome guy named Jackson is truly a bright and engaging puppy to consider for a lifetime of true love. This boy is 4 months old and weighs 17 pounds and is determined to a Heinz 57 mix for sure. His momma is named Cherish and she is truly a dog that has a loving and warm temperament and is already adopted in just mere days of posting her. She is 30 pounds but we think that this boy will be influenced by his fatherly parent. Mom is an Aussie mix with Short hair and a truly sweet persona. She has passed along her intelligence and her loving nature to her litter. He and his mom were found as a litter dumped in a rural countryside in Tennessee. They were taken to a small town shelter where no one comes to adopt. Rescue was the ONLY way out! We are so glad that fosters helped us take Jackson and his momma home to foster. We think that Aussie and Hound is the combination for Jackson. He has the most wonderful markings and so playful and embracing all the animals in the foster home….. dogs, cats, children too. This boy gets rewards when he goes outside to the bathroom and will be very upset if you do NOT reward him. He is learning fast how to be 100% housebroken. We want a fenced yard where he can run and run and run, and a family with TIME to play with him and the skills to keep training him and helping become a very polished adult dog who will be 45-50 pounds as an adult. Jackson is available NOW…. so email us at [email protected] to receive an application. Tell us where you live…..we transport from Nashville, TN northward and also adopt within Tennessee. PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted. Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site. The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive. Contact us at
