I am the initial owner of this MINT, essentially UNPLAYED PRS SC 245, 25th Anniversary design.
I bought it brand-new from Wildwood Guitars, and it is HAND SIGNED by Paul Reed Smith. (That's not a basic feature of the 25th anniversary line). I'm including the Hand-signed control cover as part of the deal, though it's worth plenty on it's own. I have an additional control plate on the guitar, so the signed one can be preserved / framed / etc
. I have 100 % of everything from the purchase, down to the original shipping box it came in. Yes, even that is mint.
Amber Smoke finish, 10 Top, 57/08 pick-ups with gold anodized covers, hand inscribed. White 25th anniversary case. Weighs only about 7.5 pounds (I weighed it a long time back on a shipping scale, I think this is the weight; it is Very comfortable and really light). Many SC 245s are rather heavy, some exceeding 10 Lbs.
This guitar is merely flawless in every way. It is maybe the finest sounding instrument I've ever heard or played in 40 years. It has a large range of tones, from a Billy Gibbons Pearly Gates snap, to the Brian May lyrical singing / blistering sear, to the timeless 1959 Les Paul tone, scooped, woody and clear at the same time. It really has the warmth and the clarity. I got it to keep for life, and I've kept it in it's case as a collector's piece.
I'm not eager on arrangement; It's a wonderful price for such a phenomenal collector's instrument in essentially untouched, mint condition. It will be worth numerous thousands more in the years to come. Original market price was well over $3,000.00.
